Born Global incubator program

Following the success of the pilot incubator program in 2018, Enterprize was awarded funding through the Australian Government's New and Existing Incubator support initiative to run further rounds of the program in 2020.

Each of the three planned Born Global incubator program intakes will start with a three-month “Big Ideas” competition, featuring bootcamps and mentoring in Launceston, Burnie and Hobart. Teams will be guided through the startup ideation process, followed by a round of public feedback through video-pitching and online voting, and finishing with a high-profile awards night. There will be special categories for students, recent graduates and Internet of Things/Smart Cities concepts.

Teams completing the Big Ideas competition will be able to fast-track into the 14-week incubator program, taking their concept through an intensive, market-focussed program to develop a minimum-viable product and secure commercial partnerships for proof-of-concept or pilot.

International, business and technology partners will give each startup a leg-up, with free access to software and platforms and direct connections to markets in Asia, Europe and North America.
